Hey everyone!!
I hope you’re all doing well!!
Students arrived October 2nd and we’ve had such a fun, crazy month!!
To start with, I have 7 amazing girls in my room who I now get to do life with! They are all so filled with the love and joy of the Lord and it's an honour to walk with future world changers as they learn, grow and receive words of the Lord, revelation and a heart for missions every day!! In my life, my payday is:
a) seeing people receive freedom, healing and revelation
b) seeing people surrender their lives to Jesus (and bonus committing to long-term missions, even bigger bonus is when it’s in Central Asia)
c) seeing Muslims come to know Jesus.
It is so fulfilling to see testimonies of the Lord’s power and love in my daily life! Something I felt from the Lord over my room was that we would see so many breakthroughs in healing, miracles, and freedom! On the first weekend, I couldn't believe my eyes when I witnessed this—ON THE FIRST WEEKEND!!
It started off super rocky with a phone breaking, luggage going missing, injuries and homesickness but as a room, we prayed in the morning for a good day- provision of a phone, that the luggage would be delivered... and for a GOOD GOOD day.
And I really felt the Lord say he would move.
That night we had a worship and gospel night and I heard a quiet whisper from the Lord to come expectant to see healings and ‘good things’.
AND IT HAPPENED!
HEALINGS, SALVATION, FREEDOM, HEARING THE VOICE OF THE LORD IN VISIONS AND WORDS! Just from my room! Plus, countless testimonies from the rest of the school! Earlier that day a new phone was provided and 15 minutes after the gathering, the luggage was delivered!!
Wow praise God
God is on the move!!
One of my biggest heart pieces is the power of intercession! All throughout the gospels we see an invitation to pray, Romans 8:34 says that Jesus “is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” Jesus is on the right hand of the Father on the throne interceding for us 24/7, and we get to partner with Him!! Praying for ourselves, friends, families, injustices around the world, unreached people groups and nations etc! Nothing is too big or small for the God of the universe who is alive and active! This is all to say, it’s so rewarding seeing students also receive revelation about this and become such prayer warriors!! Circling around each other to pray!!!
We’ve also had some amazing speakers this month!
Week one we had Andy Byrd speak on wholehearted love and surrender to Jesus!!
Some key points:
Never stop growing in curiosity and awe.
The gospel is our ANCHOR.
Miracles and healings do not anchor, but the love of God- the disciples witnessed so many miracles, yet all turned their back on Jesus, yet when Jesus resurrected and saw them again, he made them breakfast on the beach, despite betrayal and disobedience. THAT is what the pivot was which led to all of them (minus John) dying a martyrs' death
Why? - WHOLEHEARTED LOVE
Live with Jesus in full love and full Lordship.
Real freedom is only found in full surrender - so surrender is actually the sweetest, smartest thing you can do!
God is more committed to your calling than you are.
We give up addiction, depression, anxiety, loveless relationships etc FOR ETERNAL LIFE, freedom, healing, unconditional love.
Week 2 we had Adam Narciso, from YWAM Nashville speak on identity and freedom!! And wow, SO much freedom was experienced in the classes!! Some things that stuck out:
Our practical earth assignment= to work out salvation with fear and trembling
Insecurity and disagreeing with God in who you are is pride because it’s putting your opinion over God.
The gospel secured us in God's love so in suffering we have CONFIDENCE to run to God. (Hebrews 4:16)
Let the God who designed you be the one to define you
Fight for God's definition of you
Throughout the week we had many alter calls, declaring freedom from addiction, past abuse, sinful events, painful thought patterns amongst more. And in the last class, he had us clear all the chairs, leaving one remaining in the middle with a microphone. He had every single student walk in the opposite spirit of lies believed and held on to pain and declare freedom!
Again, it was SO amazing and rewarding seeing my students declare what the Lord says about them over the enemy and receive freedom from lies believed! I literally sobbed, knowing how nervous some were to do this and how bound they were, seeing them fight for the Lord’s definition of them and their life!!
Week 3 we had Banning Liebscher from Jesus Culture talk on discipleship!!
Some key points:
Do not live on vision, - vision is easy to get but it’s the follow-through that’s harder, - live on obedience
Discipleship = looking like Jesus
BE SO INTENTIONAL, the decisions and seeds you plant now are the fruit you’ll be eating in 10 years
Intentionally plant your life in the soil of God's presence, word and family.
Focus on your growth and development (ESPECIALLY in your 20s)
Because vision and assignment/ what you do comes out of the overflow of your intimacy with Jesus and your character and spiritual disciplines
The Holy Spirit is the seal of our salvation because daily renews us to look more like Jesus and empowers us to do the work of Jesus.
Discipleship is partnering with the Holy Spirit in this.
The best discipleship grounds are a high invitation (grace, love, kindness, forgiveness) and a high challenge environment!
WE ALSO GOT OUR OUTREACH TEAMS!! On day 2 of class, students were surprised with the outreach locations, and a week later they were revealed!! It’s the most crazy, exciting, adrenaline-pumping day ever, meeting students I will run with for the next 6 months and go to the nations with!! (And also, the students finding out where they are going!!) We have an amazing team of 14 who are so excited to go to the nations!!
And now this is when things really kick off!! The planning, contact calls and preparations! The next few months will continue to look like outreach planning, continuing discipleship with my room girls and outreach team, cultivating relationships with my co-leader, contacts, team and room girls, training and preparing my team to do missions, preach the gospel, evangelise, intercede, lead people to Jesus, and into freedom and healing in a foreign nation! What a privilege!!
This is alongside working in the finance team, being in class, intercession and training mornings with students and further cultivating intimacy with Jesus.
I love that this is my full-time job!! Being a missionary and training others in mission!! Ultimately this is all out of the overflow of intimacy with Jesus!
Throughout the gospels, we see that Jesus constantly withdrew from the crowds to spend time with His Father. Scripture calls us to an unhurried holiness, to withdraw with Jesus to desolate places.
Luke 5:15–16 “Great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. But he would withdraw to desolate places to pray”
Matthew 14:23 “After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.”
Mark 1:35 "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
Jesus had a monumental ministry ahead, yet he always found rest, peace, and incredible strength. As a leader, missionary, and believer, I’ve come to realise that it’s not my relationship with the people I lead or reach, but my relationship with the God who called me. I would rather be hidden in Christ, living in His fulness than be known by the masses.
In my secret place with my Father, my best friend, I witness His work in my life. Gradually, the things I once thought defined my worth in others' eyes begin to fade, revealing the true brilliance of my Creator. In the stillness, I quickly discover that my only source of contentment or fulfilment is not my righteousness or achievements. The truth is that we are deeply loved and known by our Creator, a Creator who sustains and empowers us to live out our purpose in a world yearning for hope and truth. Through intimacy with Him, I find clarity, strength, and peace amid life’s challenges, allowing His love to transform my heart and mind.
There is profound peace and power in recognising that our only hope—both in life and death—is Jesus. That our strength comes from Him. In fact, I cannot even become a vessel of the Holy Spirit, working from intimacy with Jesus, by myself. Ephesians 1 “God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.” I have to fully rely on Him. I want to follow Jesus into the quiet corners of life. So that everything I do and say is out of the overflow of intimacy with Jesus. In a world that so desperately needs His light, lowly, little me can become a reflection of that love and closeness.
Fundraising update:
As a missionary, this is my full-time job!! (Which is so crazy and so amazing!!) But it means I rely entirely on the support and generosity of others to continue this work! I am working on raising $2000 (£1600) a month, so i can afford the cost of living as a missionary in Kona. God has been so faithful and I am currently 25% to my goal of monthly support! For my mission's trip in December, I need to raise $5000!! Friday 1st November (in 4 days' time!) i will owe $2500 as an outreach deposit, and then Friday 20th November I will owe an additional $2500 for the remainder of my outreach costs! I am trusting God to fully provide finances! I looking for people to partner with me monthly to fulfil The Great Commission and make Jesus’ name known to the unreached! Please prayfully consider partnering with me, and if you cannot, and know someone who can, please share this with them!
I now have a UK missions account that gives me 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate!! (if you are a UK tax payer). Which makes such a difference!

Thank you to everyone who supports me!! It makes more of a difference that you can know! To be able to give my life to see the unreached reached, funded by the prayers and finances of believers is so amazing!
I would also so appreciate your prayers! There is so much power in prayer, genuinely prayer moves mountains and I've seen the power of prayer become reality, so I value having people who are willing to pray and intercede for me, my students, and my team, and for the unreached and missions in general! Prayer warriors are so important!!!
Prayer requests:
My room- that it would be a dwelling place of the Lord, covered in His peace, love and joy!
Grace over my capacity, schedule, decisions and everything I have to do!
My team- for unity, friendship and the Lord’s heart for where we are going! As well as over the people and places that we will be going to - that God will open their eyes and ears to the truth! That we will see countless salvations, healings and freedom in the name of Jesus!
Provision in finances!!
Pray for more missionaries to rise to go to the unreached!! That people will “go”. Matthew 28:19-20 is a call to all people from Jesus to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Thank you for being a part of this story and helping sow into my calling, and the Lord’s plan to further the Kingdom.
I love you all!!
Olivia
