Hello everyone!! I hope you're all doing amazing and falling in love with Jesus more and more every day!

It’s already been two months since I came home from DBS (Discipleship Bible School) on July 4th! Those 3 months of diving into the whole Bible changed me forever, and coming home has been a season of rest, seeking the Lord, and learning to trust God more deeply.

The past couple of months have looked like:

  • Resting my body and mind after such an intense season

  • Seeking the Lord - spending daily time in His Word, worship, prayer, and practising spiritual disciplines like praying in tongues, praying out loud, and keeping a prayer schedule

  • Spending time with family and friends

  • Taking care of my health

It hasn’t always been easy, and last year staffing had its own challenges, too. I love DTS, Fire and Fragrance, missions, and the vision of YWAM, but God has been teaching me that our purpose isn’t defined by a role, a title, or where we are - it’s found in Jesus Himself.

And wow, I’ve learned so much in this time:

  • Don’t let the external noise distract you from the main thing -> JESUS

  • Have the grit to be obedient.

  • Faith looks fear in the face and still says yes to Jesus.

  • He cares more about who we are becoming than what we do. Our lives are meant to reflect Him - growing in love, in the fruits of the Spirit, and in Christlikeness.

  • The Lord is unbelievably faithful and sovereign, even when we don’t understand His timing.

  • Obedience is better than sacrifice, and if we lose sight of the King while building the Kingdom, we’ve missed the point. (1 Samuel 15:22)

  • The greatest reward of obedience is God Himself.

  • The Kingdom is not advanced by busyness, but by obedience.

WHAT'S NEXT?!?

I’m going to Norway for leadership track with YWAM!

October 3rd - I fly out!

3 months in Norway for leadership track (since Kona doesn’t have space right now).

  • These months will be focused on growing as leaders and lovers of Jesus through classes, prayer, discipleship, evangelism and preparation for the next school.

  • We will also be going on mission trips to prepare, to really set a culture and lifestyle of "do first and then teach", and also because we really love Jesus and partnering with God's heart for his people!

Prayer!!

Throughout Scripture, we see that prayer is central to the people of God. Moses interceded on behalf of Israel, and God relented from destroying them (Exodus 32:11-14). Hannah poured out her heart before the Lord, and He answered with the gift of Samuel (1 Samuel 1:10-20). Daniel set his face to pray and fast for his nation, and God gave him wisdom and revelation (Daniel 9).

In the New Testament, the early church devoted themselves to prayer (Acts 2:42), Paul pleaded with believers to pray for boldness and open doors for the Gospel (Ephesians 6:18-20), and even Jesus Himself constantly withdrew to pray to the Father (Luke 5:16).

Prayer has always been the way God’s people partner with Him. It isn’t secondary to missions - it is the very foundation. It is where battles are fought, where strength is given, and where God moves in power!!

As I prepare to leave, I know I cannot walk into this next season apart from prayer. That’s why I’m asking you to join me - to stand in the gap, not just for me, but for the students I’ll disciple, the nations we’ll go to, and for God’s Kingdom to advance.

Would you contend with me in prayer?

  • For deep intimacy with Jesus - fully trusting, fully yielded, fully abiding in Him.

  • That I would carry a spirit of contentment and joy in knowing the Lord

  • For God to surround me with good community, friendships, and leadership in this season

  • That I would walk in real fear of the Lord every day

  • Strength and health in body, mind, and spirit

  • Financial breakthrough

Your prayers are not just encouragement - they are essential. Thank you for interceding, for standing with me, and for believing with me for all that God is going to do!!

Partner With Me

This next season is all about obedience to the Lord.

God has spoken so clearly for me to step into another year of staffing, and I know He will provide because He is faithful. This isn’t about “just raising money” or "doing missions" - it’s about saying yes to what Jesus has asked me to do and trusting Him to write the story. He is so worthy of it all.

I’ll be leaving on October 3rd, and I’m praying with faith that the Lord will provide everything needed in this short window of time!! YWAM aims to send out healthy, well-funded, and financially stable missionaries - ones who depend fully on God and the generosity of others. This isn’t so we can live in comfort, but so that we can serve God better, more efficiently, and with a strong support system.

Here’s what I’m trusting the Lord for financially:

Monthly Support -> £900 more per month

This covers housing, food, transportation, ministry costs, and personal needs in Norway.

One-Time Needs

  • Return flight to Norway → £250

  • Outreach expenses in Norway (travel + fees) → £300

  • Outreach in Europe → £500

I’d love to invite you to pray and ask the Lord if He’s leading you to partner with me in this. It’s not about pressure - it’s about obedience. If He puts it on your heart, I would be so grateful to walk this journey together.

As a missionary, I don’t get paid- I get to live fully on faith and the generosity of the Body of Christ, which is actually so much more meaningful to see the fruit of dependence on the Lord. All support goes directly to my mission's work!

To give:

Thank you so much to those of you who have already given, prayed, and supported me along the way - I couldn’t do any of this without you. Your faithfulness and encouragement have carried me more than you know, and I’m so thankful we get to be in this story together!! Please reach out if you have any questions, comments, prayer requests, etc I would love to talk! I can also meet in person this month if you're in England!!

With so much love & joy,

Olivia <3
