I’m going back!!

 After so much prayer and consideration, I am so excited to tell you all, that in just a couple of months, I'll be embarking on an exciting new chapter of my life—heading back to YWAM Kona and staffing fire&fragrance (the school I just competed)!!

I believe that God is calling me to step into this journey with him, over the last couple of months in prayer, I’ve had some strong words from God about this, and so despite any uncertainty or doubts I am willing to jump into his plan! My word for this year was ‘obedience’, and I am definitely having to prove it now, but it's such a joy to obey!!

This is a 2-year commitment, for nine months of both years. I will be attending a 3-month leadership track, in which we will be diving deep into leadership- how to biblically lead small groups, 1-on-1s and a team to the nations; and will also be time set apart for personal growth and intimacy with Jesus. I will be living in community on campus while having intensive teaching, practical missions, worship, intercession, serving on campus and discipleship. We’ll also be staffing ‘Commission Youth Camp’, essentially a youth summer camp focused on the nations- with worship, teaching, training and so much fun! Leaders have told me how powerful and fun last year was, with so many youths finding freedom and healing!!

This will then lead to staffing a DTS (Discipleship Training School) for 6 months! As a leader, I'll have the privilege of mentoring and supporting students as they undergo training in discipleship and missions. I will be leading a room of 9 girls, including 1on1 discipleship and planning an outreach! I am so excited about the opportunity to invest in the lives of these young people, helping them discover their passions, develop their skills, and deepen their relationship with God. My DTS was such a transformative time of revelation, growth, joy and seeking the face of Jesus, and so I am excited to help students on their journey! I had some amazing leaders who really spoke truth and wisdom into my life and overall impacted my walk with God, I LOVED my 1-1 discipleship (shoutout Lucy!!) and am excited to be on the other side too! I was ignited with a passion for missions, the unreached, and the love of Jesus, and am excited to help people walk out the call of God on their lives and show students the joy and importance of missions!

In this, I will be planning and leading (with one other), an outreach to the nations! Planning everything from ministry, accommodation, team schedule, transportation, visas, etc. Then leading 6-13 students to another country into that ministry for 3 months! While this is pushing my comfort zone, I am most excited for this, as I’ve said, my outreach was absolutely insane and was the best 3 months ever. Taking this new role will be stretching but God truly is the one leading and no matter what, his plan is best!!

My heart burns for missions, so I'm excited to officially step into Mathew 28 and full-time missions for the next two years. Being a moving part in seeing the Great Commission fulfilled, reaching the unreached, and seeing the lost saved, healed and redeemed!!

Matthew 9:37-38 says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”- I get to be one of the workers!!! The harvest is ripe!!

Throughout this adventure, I plan to carry on documenting my experiences through Instagram and this blog, sharing testimonies, revelations, and the joy of serving God and missions! I believe in the power of storytelling and remembering, sharing what God has done/ is doing, and I hope that my journey with YWAM will serve as a testament to God's love, power, and faithfulness.

I am so excited for this next chapter of life, but I do need help getting there! I would be so blessed if you would prayerfully partner with me and what the Lord is doing in the nations in prayer and financially as I become a missionary. There is so much power in prayer, genuinely prayer moves mountains and I've seen the power of prayer become reality, so I value having people who are willing to pray and intercede for me, my students, and my team, and for the unreached and missions in general! Prayer warriors are so important!!

Prayer points:

-For provision in finances of full-time missions!

-That God would continue to teach and grow me to be able to lead!

-For favour, peace, and joy in this season to face the unknown!

-To find good community wherever I am.

-For Central Asia!!—that God will reveal himself dollmmto his people, in dreams, visions and encounters, so that they may know the truth and love of Jesus.

-Pray for more missionaries to rise to go to the unreached!! That people will “go”. Matthew 28:19-20 is a call to all people from Jesus to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

As a self-funded missionary, I am responsible for all my expenses. I am currently working (over) full time and saving every penny to go. But I can't do this alone. So I am working on raising support for the 2 years that I will be gone, looking for people to partner with me to fulfil The Great Commission and make Jesus’ name known to the unreached! Most staff aim to raise $1000 a month to cover expenses since we cannot work a paying job out there.

On-campus rent: $400 a month or $2,400 total

Outreach fees $5000-$6000 

Flights and food.
